Have you and perhaps other members of your family set a goal to get outdoors and exercise? Perhaps you are recovering from an injury or illness, or you have been inactive and are unsure how to start being active. Maybe you are nervous about joining a ski or snowshoe group because you are worried the pace and difficulty will be beyond your capabilities.
We can provide classic ski or snowshoe lessons tailored to your individual fitness level, starting with shorter duration, slower pace or easier terrain.

At level 1, the evaluated techniques are diagonal stride, double pole, one skate and wedge turn. Lesson evaluations include diagonal stride without poles, diagonal stride, double pole, straight running, braking wedge, wedge turn, herringbone, side step, free skate, one skate and diagonal skate.
