Nordic Winter Festival 2023

The Nordic Winter Festival is returning to Caledonia! Tell your family and friends because there will be FREE TRAIL PASSES all day!! It is a day for all to enjoy, full of fun family activities. Learn to classic ski with our (heavily discounted) ski lessons, tour the trails on snowshoes, try out Paranordic sit skiing, participate in the just for fun, choose your own route Chocolate Race, or learn about waxing your skis at the Waxing Demos! Support our local Food Bank by purchasing hot dogs and hot chocolate at the fire pit (Please be generous!).

Ski and snowshoe rentals available at the regular price and available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration for all activities except the Chocolate Race will be in the Rental Shop (9AM-2PM). Registration for the Chocolate Race will be in the Upstairs Lodge (10:15AM-10:45AM)

9:30AM – 10:00AM         Waxing Demo with Johanne – Next to XC Tech Building in Stadium | FREE

10:00AM - 11:00AM        Introductory Classic Ski Lesson #1 (Must be age 7+). – Stadium | $5.00 per person

10:15AM - 10:45AM        Chocolate Race Registration – Upstairs in lodge. | $2.00 per person

10:30AM – 11:30AM       Try Paranordic Skiing (Sit Ski and Guided Tour) – Stadium | FREE

10:30AM - 12:00PM        Snowshoe Tour with Beryl – Meet by XC Tech building | FREE

11:00AM                          Chocolate Race Start – Stadium

11:30AM - 2:00PM          Hot Dogs/Hot Chocolate - Gravel Pit. (Proceeds to Food Bank - PLEASE BE GENEROUS) | BY DONATION 

1:00PM - 2:00PM            Introductory Classic Ski Lesson #2 (Must be age 7+). | $5.00 per person 

2:00PM - 2:30PM            Waxing Demo with Johanne – Next to XC Tech Building in Stadium | FREE
