LESSON TIMES

Beginner and Intermediate Group Lessons
Monday 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

Classes are sets of three lessons starting Monday January 7th, 2008 and February 4,2008

Cost is $40 for members and $60 for non-members. Register and prepay for these lessons at:

Lessons can be tailored to suit your needs!

Group classic and skating lessons will be arranged or organize your own group and have a lesson.

Note: There is a special trail fee for non members taking lessons of $5.00 per person per lesson to be added to the lesson fee

PRE-ICEMAN SKATING CLINIC Saturday, January 12th, 2008

All Levels--Beginner to Advanced

9:00am - 12:00 noon--Cost (lesson and snack included) $30 for members; $40 non-members

Non-members are asked to pay a reduced trail fee of $5.00

INSTRUCTORS WANTED

If you're an avid skier that loves to get out on the trails and help others learn how to ski, we may have a position for you. Ski School is currently looking for more bodies to help teach the ways of the trails. Ski School instructors are paid an hourly wage and hours are flexible throughout the winter. CANSI LEVEL 1 - Introduction To Ski Instruction

Ski School will be running a CANSI Level 1 course December 15th and 16th, 2007 at Otway. CANSI Level 1 instructors are taught an introduction to ski instruction and once they have passed the course they are certified to teach novice skiers. This national designation is needed before an instructor can teach with the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club Ski School. CANSI LEVEL 1 - RECERTIFICATION

A Cansi refresher will take place at Otway on December 15th, 2007.For many of our CANSI instructors it is that time of the season again and your CANSI instruction is due for an update. Recertification is required a minimum of once every three years. You are reminded that in order to teach as part of the CNSC Ski School and be covered by our insurance, your CANSI courses/fees must be kept up to date. If you need to recertify this season, please contact Carolyn at the number and email address below and let her know.
