Recreation Award of Merit

The City of Prince George annually recognizes volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to recreation and community service. The recipients of these awards are presented with Certificates of Recognition at the Civic Appreciation Banquet. Recipients names are engraved on a plaque which is hung at City Hall.

Recreation Award of Merit

This is the highest honor a recreation volunteer can receive from the City of Prince George. This award recognizes individuals who have contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to the development of the recreation scene within the City of Prince George; which includes Community Recreation, Sport, Culture, Visual Arts and Performing Arts. The following have received this award for their work on behalf of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club:
